My Personal Review
“we’re going to break in, and stuff our bellies, but this time, we’re going to do it my way…”
Liberty Park, the only source of wildlife in the big city is starving. They cannot gather enough food for winter, and they have no one to turn to. Meanwhile Surly and his buddy named, well Buddy, are trying to make out for themselves. Will all the animals starve?
Buddy is really loyal throughout the movie. He stays with Surly no matter what. Eventually Surly helps the park, and even keeps his promise. Andy wants to work with Surly and wants him to be treated justly. Surly helps to animals that are about to be killed. Also, the gang of animals bust a bunch of villains. In the end, the good guys win and Surly learns a lesson, “Sharing and helping others are good things to do.”
In the beginning, Surly is mostly just a guy that looks after himself. He laughs and loves it when things happen that are bad. He gets chased by some ugly looking rodents that might be scary for some kids. One other character only looks out for himself, and he even tries to kill for it.
There are a bunch of toots and burps in this movie that are meant to be jokes. One dog also shakes her butt showing off her tail. This might be unacceptable for some people. There is a little language but nothing really extreme. One character is trying to get another squirrel to marry him, though there are no kisses.
So are you ready to get nuts? Then get ready to jump into the action with all your favorite wild animals. Who is trying to get animals killed? Will Surly help the park? Will they all starve? How are they going to find food? Does Surly have what it takes to be the hero? Find out the answers to all these questions and more in The Nut Job:
