24 Season 2

Introduction

Jack Bauer is back. After losing his wife in Season 1, Jack retired from CTU because the experience hurt him too much. He only sees his daughter once and a while, because she is hurt as well, and Jack only reminds her of her mother. However, Jack Bauer did not get a chance to rest, because Day 2 has come, and the threat had never been so high…

The Threat

In this episode, the main threat is a nuclear bomb that has been captured by terrorists. The terrorists threaten to use it in Los Angeles, California. President David Palmer quickly calls for his old friend Jack Bauer to lead CTU into a attempt to stop this bomb’s detonation. Despite his loss, Jack Bauer accepts the mission and with the help of George Mason, Tony Almeida, and Michelle Dessler, they hope to stop the threat. However, there are a lot of twists throughout this series. What you least expect to happen always happens. Can Jack Bauer stay two steps ahead, or will this bomb go off and kill thousands?

What to Expect

This film has lots of violence in it. Blood and gunshots are seen in every episode. Multiple people die and we see lots of explosions and car chases. A few people are stabbed or lose body parts to knives. Jack lives on the edge, so he will kill anyone who stands in his way. He has no limits.

We see some woman dressed inappropriately. We also see some alcohol and smoking, but nothing too extreme in these two areas. One or two episodes have a scene that might be worth skipping, as it is not really important to the plot.

There is a lot of language in this series. We hear the Lord’s name misused multiple times. We also hear Jack and others say “d-m- it” a lot. Other curse words are also heard, such as “a–” and “b—-“. No f-bombs are in the series.

Conclusion

Overall, I really enjoyed Season 2. It gave more depth to Jack Bauer’s character. Watching Jack give his life multiple times to stop the bomb is quite the epic experience. I was on the edge of my seat through the entire series. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves action adventure TV series.
