My Personal Review

“I’ll be out of your hair as soon as I stop the alien infiltration here”

Carol Danvers started off with a life on Earth, but later, she had some event take place that gave her extraordinary powers, but it also removed all her previous memories. As she struggles to find what they were, she also has to fight the Skrulls that are trying to infiltrate Earth. But everything may not be what it seems, in multiple ways.

Ripe Apples

Captain Marvel starts off the movie being a little hot-tempered, but as the movie progresses, she learns to control herself and not let her emotions control her. Captain Marvel has to make some tough decisions, but when she does, she does the thing that she thinks is right and not the thing that doesn’t feel right. This even comes when dealing with both Skrulls and Kree.

Nick Fury is a really funny guy, but he knows when to help the right person. Agent Coulson is seen defying orders to help his friend.

Rotten Apples

The violent content involves a lot of laser gun battles. We see people get shot and most killed. Most aliens bleed blue blood. We also see some people die and turn back into Skrulls. We see some explosions and some people fist fight in some scenes.

There is a little bit of sexual content in this film. We see an alien autopsy and Nick Fury looks at his midsection and then looks at the doctor. Later, a woman tells a Skrull she is going to put her foot where it doesn’t belong. Carol steals some clothes from a plastic model and the model has some detailed features that we see for a second, but nothing below the waste.

We see Nick Fury drinking an unknown drink, it could be sweet tea or it could be alcohol. We also see Carol Danvers at a party in her early life.

There is some language in this movie. There are three uses of “a–” and 2 uses of “d-m-.” We hear the Lord’s name misused a few times. “Sh–” and “‘Ba—rd” are heard once or twice.

Overall, I heard a lot of negative comments about Captain Marvel, and I also heard some positive ones as well. Overall, I liked the movie. Though their were some things I did not like about the movie such as the language, the plot was still pretty exciting. I hope you decide to watch this film.
