Introduction

Spiderman is back in the final installment of the Spiderman Homecoming Trilogy! At the end of the last film, Spiderman: Far from Home, Mysterio was defeated by Spiderman. However, Mysterio had one more trick up his sleeve. After Peter had gone back to normal life, Mysterio had sent a video recording to the Daily Bugle. This video revealed Spiderman’s true identity, leaving Peter’s identity exposed. The movie opens up with Peter being pressed with legal charges of being a vigilante. Peter’s family, friends, and class begin to suffer just for knowing Peter. However, Peter gets a genius idea. He decides to go visit his friend Doctor Strange to see if he can change the events of the past when Mysterio revealed his identity. Doctor Strange agreed to help Spiderman, and together they unleash a spell that would make everyone forget Peter Parker was Spiderman. However, after a mishap of events, the spell pulls in other villains from different universes with many different abilities, causing the earth to be in grave danger. Spiderman must suit up and save the day and send the villains home before it is too late.

Ripe Apples

Peter realizes that his power comes with responsibility, and we see that throughout this film. Peter doesn’t want anyone to suffer for what he does, good or bad. He takes full responsibility as he should. Spiderman also is seen saving his enemies and people that wronged him from danger. To him, people are people and nobody deserves to die.

MJ and Ned are loyal friends. Even when Peter is facing legal troubles, they continue to stay by his side and they don’t leave him, even if it threatens their future, which shows loyalty and care for their friend. Some people sacrifice their lives and time to help Peter in his dilemma.

A good lesson taught in this movie is to not give into your anger. There are times that Peter gets really upset and wants to do something evil, but ultimately he learns that getting revenge will not change anything and that it is wrong to do. The movie also teaches how even though people have chosen bad paths in the past, they do not have to continue that for their entire lives. Everyone deserves a second chance to do the right thing.

Rotten Apples

The villains do some terribly violent things. There are many explosions in this movie. We also see some blood. One person dies a slow and painful death. We see one person get stabbed (offscreen). Many punches are thrown and people are scene with blood on their faces. The Green Goblin, especially is very scary when he is onscreen and may cause some people unease.

There is some magic in this movie, and it is mainly used to make people forget things, and it is also used to open up portals and other dimensions.

In one scene Peter is seen undressing to get out of his suit and MJ is in the room. Someone else walks in the room and assumes they were having sex, when they were not. One person’s clothes are burnt and he says “Are you all just going to stand there and act like that I’m not butt a– naked?” One person said that they were going to.

There is some language in this movie. When the movie opens up Peter almost uses the f bomb but a car honks its horn before he does. The Lord’s name is misused about 5 or 6 times. “Sh–” is used about 3 times. Other curse words such as “d-m-“, “he–” are used a few times. This movie does not have too much language, however.

In the post credit scene someone is seen drunk at a bar.

Conclusion

I’m going to be honest, I loved this movie. I saw it in theaters literally two days in a row. The story is great, and the lessons are great. I highly recommend watching this movie. I haven’t seen as good of a movie as this since Avengers: Endgame. This movie definitely lived up to its hype. The cameo’s from other Spiderman trilogies made this film even more special. In the theater I was in there were cheers every few minutes. There are a few things wrong with it, but it is no where close to being as woke as some of the films that are currently coming to theaters. I highly recommend you see this film. Feel free to purchase it below!
