Introduction

Judy Hopps is a bunny with a big dream. Judy wants to be a police officer in the big city of Zootopia. However, there has never been a bunny cop before. Judy doesn’t let that bother her though, as she continues to push on so that she can become a officer. When she finally does become a police officer, she is extremely excited to get her first case ever. When she does, however, she realizes that the fate of Zootopia rests on Judy’s shoulders. If she can’t solve the case than the predators may begin to eat the prey. Can Judy solve the case in time or is Zootopia doomed to destruction?

Ripe Apples

Judy Hopps has a dream and Zootopia lets any one be whatever they would like to be. Judy wants to be a police officer and this movie shows that if you pursue a goal with your whole heart you can achieve your goal, which is what Judy does. When she becomes and officer she does her best to uphold the law.

Nick isn’t the best character at the beginning of the movie as he breaks the law, but towards the end he realizes right and wrong and is a good character then. He doesn’t give up on Judy and he helps encourage her when she is discouraged. He explains what happened in his past and doesn’t want the same to happen to anyone else.

Rotten Apples

Though becoming whatever you want to be is ok to a certain extent, there is a fine line. This movie seems to say that you can be absolutely anything you want to be, but there are certain things that a specific person cannot be. Therefore it is important to keep that in mind when watching this film.

There isn’t too much violence in this movie. However, we do see a few animals go wild and attack other animals. One animal scratches another ones out, but not too gory. We also see a few animal scratches and other cuts. The wild animals may scare little children.

There is not much inappropriate content in this film, though we do see one animal that is said to be naked and he explains that the group he is in are all naked for their beliefs, no real nudity is shown. We also hear Judy’s parents talk about starting a family and they said they settled “hard.”

There is a scene at a wedding where characters are drinking a unspecified drink.

The language in this film stays mild, with a few uses of “h-ck”,”cr-p”, and words like that. We hear the Lord’s name misused a few times.

Conclusion

In the end, Zootopia is a good movie for your kids to watch. The plot is mysterious and thrilling, keeping kids on the edge of their seats. It also has a a good lesson that you can choose any career you want to have, with some exceptions. I really enjoyed watching Nick turn from a thief and a bad guy to a good character that cares about Judy. I highly recommend you check this film out!
