The MCU has been existed for 16 years, and throughout those years we’ve had some great characters that the audience loved. Some of these include Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Panther. However, as the MCU has progressed, many heroes have passed away or were killed in battle. Today I’m going to rank the top 5 superheroes that are still alive in the MCU.
5: Spiderman
At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker was forced to basically restart his life since Dr. Strange cast a spell that made everyone forget who Peter was. While there are rumors for a Spider-Man 4 coming in the near future, this would be an interesting film since we will have to see how Peter makes new friends and see if he is able to move on from MJ Watson. There are also rumors that Daredevil and Kingpin may be in this film, which would give us an interesting film based in NYC.
4: Loki
At the end of Loki Season 2, Loki is seen at the end of time holding all of the branches of time together. While he can’t leave the end of time, that does not mean that he is dead. Loki is currently the most powerful hero in the world as he controls time itself. It remains to be seen if we will see Loki onscreen again, but it’s possible that he may cameo in future films to help provide advice when it is needed.
3: Antman
Scott Lang has had many adventures with the Wasp. With his most recent journey to the Quantum Realm, Scott has to figure out if Kang is a real threat to the world. While Scott may have had many solo adventures, he still was there during the Civil War and the time heist to save the world. Going into the next phase and the next villain, I believe that Antman is going to be a crucial part of the Avengers.
2: Thor
Thor has lost nearly everything. He lost his home, his family, and some of his friends. However, Thor still does what is right. Now that he is taking care of Gorr’s daughter, it will be interesting to see how that effects his life as a superhero. With Hercules on his way to defeat Thor, Thor won’t have peace for long before he must pick back up the axe and save the day.
1: Daredevil
Matthew Murdock has been making multiple cameos in different films(Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk, and Echo) in the past 3 or 4 years. However, in the near future we are going to be getting Daredevil: Born Again. Daredevil was not one of the people taken away in the snap, so he probably was one of the few superheroes protecting New York during the five year period. The Daredevil: Born Again synopsis states that Daredevil and Wilson Fisk are going to try to put their differences aside to help New York, but the past is going to catch up with them. With Daredevil entering the mainstream MCU, things are bound to get interesting.
