Introduction
Black Adam has been asleep for nearly 5000 years and finally has been awaken. However, he does not realize that times have changed and he becomes a threat for humanity. The Justice Society, which consists of Atom Smasher, Cyclone, Dr. Fate, and Hawkman, race to imprison him. However, when a new villain arrives, Black Adam may be the only person that can stop him.
Ripe Apples
Black Adam may do some evil things but in the end he tries to protect his people of his city. He doesn’t want any harm to come to his people. He is seen on multiple occasions saving his people. In the end he explains that the people he protects need a protector, not a king, like they want him to be. He believes they need to be free to do what they want.
Dr. Fate sees the future and realizes that his friends are going to die unless he does something that involves personal sacrifice which he does to protect his team.
This film has some funny quips and jokes that allow some laughter in such a serious film.
Rotten Apples
The violent content in this film is pretty brutal. We see people shot and killed, as well as many explosions. Black Adam uses his lightning to cook humans which is seen graphically. He also is seen tearing one person in half. There are also some other people that are stabbed. This film definitely earns its PG-13 rating for its violent content.
There is no sexual content in this film which is AMAZING!
There is no drug content in this film which is OUTSTANDING.
There is one villain who resembles a Devil and awakens the demons in hell to fight as his army.
There are about 5 uses of the s word and 3 uses of the a word in this film which is about all I heard.
Additional thoughts
We finally get a superhero movie that entertains and doesn’t teach politics. This film sticks to the story and tells a great story while keeping the audience entertained. If DC keeps this up this franchise will easily tower over Marvel.
It was a major relief to meet the new heroes of the Justice Society and there is a want for more content with them. I also want to say it was great that there was no sexual or drug content in this film. The violent content in this film is still something to consider, however.
Conclusion
In the end, this film did a great job at entertaining the audience and providing a great story. There were no woke politics taught which helped this movie immensely. The violent content was a bit much but I honestly hope this film does well. Not to mention the tease for the Man in Black vs. The Man of Steel tease in the post credit scene.
