Introduction

B-127 is from Cybertron, a planet far away from Earth. However, there are two groups of robots that are at war on this planet. These groups are called the Autobots and the Decepticons. B-127 is an Autobot who has been sent to Earth to see if the Autobots could live there in hiding from the Decepticons.

When B-127 lands on earth, he is discovered by humans, and he doesn’t know who to trust. However, B-127 meets Charlie Watson, a young woman who is trying to find her way back to a normal life after her father’s sudden death. When the two meet, Charlie wants to help B-127 (who she nicknames Bumblebee). However, as Decepticons begin to hunt for Bumblebee, Bumblebee must complete his mission while protecting those that he cares about.

Ripe Apples

Charlie Watson has never been the same after her dad died suddenly. She has been depressed and described herself as a drain on her family. She is even seen getting into a fight with her mother in one scene. However, as the film progresses, Charlie realizes that she needs to move on and cherish the memory of her father. She needs to be there for her family, who needs her more than she realizes.

Bumblebee does not remember anything after landing on Earth due to his memory chip malfunctioning. Therefore, being on a new planet, his only friend is Charlie. He tries to listen to what she tells him and is even seen protecting her and other humans when they are in danger. Bumblebee has a good heart and wants to help those around him. In a few scenes he is seen sacrificing himself for the safety of the humans around him.

Rotten Apples

Most of the violence that is in this film is robots fighting each other. We see laser blasts, explosions, and robots blown to pieces. A few robots are cut in half as well. We see a few people get turned into goo by a Decepticon. A few humans are injured with broken bones, and we see some blood.

John Cena in Bumblebee

We see a few men shirtless, and a few women are wearing shirts that show some cleavage. At the end the main character kisses a boy, who later tries to hold her hand, but she says, “We aren’t there yet.”

One mother asks her son if he is on drugs.

There are about 4 uses of the s word. The h word is used the most at about 10 times. The d word was used 6 times. Jesus’ name is misused once, and we hear one use of the a word combined with dumb.

Conclusion

Overall, I enjoyed watching Bumblebee. If you had never seen a Transformers film before and then watched this film, you would still enjoy the film. Bumblebee stands on its own and has a very entertaining story. The characters have great development and are very interesting.

The nostalgia of the 80s is also something a lot of people enjoy about this film. In conclusion, this is a very entertaining film that any science fiction or Transformer fan will enjoy. I highly recommend that you check it out! Purchase the film below:
