Introduction

Jeremy Camp was an average man who was just starting his first year at college. He is very talented in music, and he uses that gift to bring glory to God. During his freshmen year, he meets a young woman named Melissa, and as they begin dating, they realize that they were meant for each other. They are determined to get married, but then the worst happens. Melissa gets diagnosed with cancer, stage 3. Confused and worried for her life, Jeremy helps Melissa through this hard time without second thought and shows what true love really is like.

Ripe Apples

Jeremy Camp is an outstanding individual. When he finds out his future wife has cancer, he doesn’t leave her as many people would. Instead, he knows that God brought them together for a purpose so he doesn’t give up on her. He stays with her through all the trials, no matter what comes up.

Throughout the trials, Melissa shows faith and understands God has a reason. She does get upset, but she overall believes that this is God’s plan for her, whether or not she gets better.

The couple keeps their dating a secret for a while, but eventually, they tell others about it, including their parents. Jeremy’s parents aren’t on board with Jeremy’s decisions, but near the end they finally understand Jeremy’s love for his wife. Despite the outcome of the situation, Jeremy continues in God’s will and is not angry with God.

This movie shows what love truly is. Today’s world has tried to change love in some ways, but, this movie shows that love is unending and does not give up, despite the trials.

Rotten Apples

This movie is a Christian film, so there is not really any rotten apples. We do see some blood coughed up. One person dies offscreen.
