Introduction

Megamind and Metroman’s origin stories are very similar to that of Superman. They both are from alien planets that were incinerated. However, both Megamind and Metroman grew up in two different environments, causing these superhuman beings to become what they would be as adults. Metroman grew up as hero, but Megamind grew up in a prison, partially because his ship landed there. The two had fought against each other for years, until one of Megamind’s plans succeeded. Megamind had killed Metroman, and now the city was his. However, not all is at it seems, especially when a new threat comes with no hero to counter it.

Ripe Apples

Megamind is the bad guy, but he learns that he doesn’t have to be the bad guy. The movie shows that anyone van be a good guy. Everyone deserves to get a second chance. Previous choices do have consequences, however. It is important for people to understand this.

Both Megamind and Metroman fight for good, and they always beat the bad guys. This movie has a good amount of humor as well.

Rotten Apples

Megamind starts off his life by believing that he is meant to be evil. In fact, he is taught by some prisoners the wrong way of the law. He moves on in life to be a villain, but that all changes. Megamind also lies to a woman by changing his appearance. The woman eventually finds out the truth. We also hear of someone having the ability to see through lead, indicating he can see through almost anything. We hear of parents smiling down from evil heaven. This is down right wrong. We hear 2 “fricken” and 1 “good L-rd.” We also hear some name calling.

Conclusion

Even though this movie did not do well at the box office, I enjoyed it. The plot was very humorous and very exciting. I really enjoyed the lesson that despite your past, you still can change your ways. Everyone deserves a second chance, and that is exactly what Megamind got. I highly reccomend this movie for a family movie night. Let me know what you think about it in the comments below! Please rate this review!
