Introduction

Brandon Cobb is the youth pastor at his church. However, his entire class doesn’t take the Lord seriously. They do not care about spiritual things, they only care about themselves. They lie, they cheat, and they steal. The only person in Brandon’s class that wants to learn more about the Lord is Natalie, who has a stutter. Brandon realizes that he has a huge task ahead of him, but he does not want to give up on them. He wants to be the example and play the flute for them so that they will become followers of Christ that want to make a difference.

Ripe Apples

Despite the odds, Brandon and his wife, Lisa, never give up on the kids. They go through hard times and are wronged by them, but they always forgive them and do what is right. We even see Brandon making personal sacrifices because he puts the kid’s lives above his own. He realizes that they are lost and they need to be taught about the Lord.

Natalie really wants to commit to the Lord and she wants to make a difference but she has a stutter. People make fun of her and therefore she believes that she cannot make a difference. However, after Lisa and her aunt help her realize that she can make a difference she begins to become an example for the other children.

This film is very inspirational and it shows the importance of learning God’s word and never giving up, despite when all looks to be in vain.

Rotten Apples

This film does not have really have any rotten apples. The film has a great lesson and is perfect for the entire family. The only thing I would mention is that woman claims a man made a pass on her when he did not. We also see some kids making fun of another kid for her stutter. These aren’t rotten apples, as they are important parts of the story.

Conclusion

This film has a great lesson that learning more about the Lord is crucial in our everyday walk. It also shows that sometimes we will experience injustice. But no matter what happens to us, it is important for us to strive for the Lord to do what is right and help others on their walk as well. This film has a lot of turns but it really provides a great lesson for us to understand. It also is very entertaining for the family. I highly recommend that you watch this film with your family and share it with others. Let us know in the comments what you thought about this film and purchase it below!
