Overview
A reclusive romance novelist was sure nothing could be worse than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model until a kidnapping attempt sweeps them both into a cutthroat jungle adventure, proving life can be so much stranger, and more romantic, than any of her paperback fictions.

Introduction
World renowned author Loretta Sage has written countless romance novels that are highly popular. She used to like to write a lot more when her husband was still alive. However, after he died she doesn’t have any interest in her books anymore while the world still likes the books. Her latest book, The Lost City of D, is about a lost city that has a hidden treasure.
While she is promoting the book at a press event, she is kidnapped by a man looking for the treasure. The cover model for her book, Alan, as well as his friend go to rescue her and in the process try to find the lost city and the treasure which actually happens to exist.
Ripe Apples
This film has a good lesson that we should take care of those that we love. Alan is only seen as a cover model but he wants to prove to others he can help do other things as well. He wants to prove himself to Loretta. There is a lesson in this film that shows that the true treasure that anyone could have is another person that they love. This is a great lesson that riches and fame is not as big of a treasure as a person who you love and that person also loves you.
Rotten Apples
The violence is a lot more gruesome then you would think for a comedy film. We see a lot of gun shots as well as a few intense scenes. We see Alan and his friend punch and injure a lot of people. One person gets shot and his brain explodes off screen and blood gets all over another person. We also see one car chase. A few explosions are seen.
There is a lot of sexual jokes in this film. A man is in a woman’s crotch a few times. While its not meant to be sexual it definitely feels like it. A few women wear revealing clothing. A lot of women scream for a guy to pull his shirt off. We hear people call others sexy and comment on them.
We see one scene in which Alan is covered in leeches and Loretta has to take them off. Viewers see Alan shirtless and then she has to get leeches off of his butt and we see his butt in detail for about 3 minutes. No frontal is seen, but Loretta comments on it. We also see a woman and man sleep in the same hammock butt to butt hands out of the hammock. We also hear of a woman peeing in the river behind a man. There is a lot of sexual content in this film.
We see a few people drink and one person gets drugged to sleep. Loretta is seen drinking alcohol in her bathtub.
We hear a lot of language in this film. There is two uses of “a–hole,” and at least 2 “a–.” We also hear some uses of “sh–.” The Lord’s name is misused about 5 to 7 times. We hear “d-ck.”
Additional Thoughts
This film definitely had a lot more sexual content than I expected. It felt like there was some kind of sexual reference every few minutes. The scene with the leeches, while some may find it hilarious, showed much more nudity than it needed to. The sexual content is prominent and therefore important to understand if you watch this film.
The lesson of love is a good lesson as we learn it is important to make sure our loved ones are taken care of. I like how Alan tries to prove himself to Loretta so she doesn’t think he is just a cover model.
Conclusion
This film is very funny and has a great plot. The film will definitely have you laughing throughout it. Watch Alan and Loretta try to find the lost city before it is too late. Will they find the lost city? The only thing to really keep in mind if you watch this film is that there is a lot of sexual references. I recommend ages 18 and up to watch this film.
