Introduction

At the end of Infinity War, Wanda and Vision were separated when Vision was killed by Thanos. Wanda was also snapped away only a few moments later, a truly sad ending to the couple. However, after the events of Endgame, Wanda is brought back to life physically, but she is dead on the inside since she lost her loved one. She goes to pay her respects to him, only to find that the government is tearing him apart to reuse his vibranium. Furious, Wanda takes to Vision to Westview, where a variety of weird things begin to happen. Vision is brought back to life and the people of the town act like they are on a television show. But Wanda is happy and everyone around them seems to be to, but all is not as it seems.

Ripe Apples

Wanda means well in the beginning of the film, she thinks that everyone is ok and she just wants to live with Vision and be happy. However, as the film progresses, we see that Wanda is actually in grief and that is causing her to unknowingly trap the people of Westview inside their city and they are experiencing her same pain. After realizing this, Wanda lets go of what she loves most so that the people can be free of her accidental imprisonment. Vision realizes that this is happening and confronts Wanda, who admits nothing is wrong but Vision is determined to figure out what is going on. You also see Vision save multiple people from death, as well as other other characters.

This movie is very fun to discover what is really going on in the town and its a nice change of pace to see superheroes get to live a normal life, well, it is a sitcom, but still, a fun thing to see in the first few episodes.

Rotten Apples

There is some violence in this movie, but most of it has to do with magic in one way or another. We see a few witches get their skulls fried and we see them awake and walk around like zombies after being killed. Lasers, magic, and bullets are fired around to bring damage to people. We also see Wanda lose her magic and when she does she begins to turn black like her skin is rotting. People are seen being choked by magic.

In one episode, Vision acts like he is really drunk when he has chewing gum in his system. A group of people laugh at him as they think that it is just a part of the show that Wanda and Vision are performing. After the show the gum is removed and he acts normal.

In one scene Wanda and Vision are sleeping in separate beds. After a few minutes, they move into one bed, as they are married, and then Vision covers them with the blanket and the episode ends, but it is clear what they were about to do. Wanda is pregnant in the next episode and undergoes a speedy pregnancy. Vision researches pregnancy and helps Wanda go through her pregnancy. There see no nudity or anything when the children are born.

We hear some language in this series, but not as much as you typically hear in a normal Marvel movie. There are about 2 to 3 cuss words an episode. These words vary from the Lord’s name in vain, to “d-m-” to “h-ll.” There are no f words. The language is mostly made by the people that are on the outside of Westview.

Conclusion

In the end, WandaVision is a fun and exciting series. After each episode you want to watch another one until the series is over. I will say the ending is very sad, but it is important that the lesson is taught, as Wanda learns. The cliffhanger at the end leaves fans speculating what will happen next in the series and what is to become of Wanda with her new knowledge of being the Scarlet Witch and if we will ever see Vision again. I highly recommend this series to any Marvel fan!
