After an unexpected event, Scott Calvin is forced to become Santa Claus and take over the job for the rest of his life.

The movie starts off with a man named Robert is going to decorate his mother’s gravestone. As he makes his way to her grave, he remembers something that happened 15 years ago that changed him.

Mary is a very busy woman! She is constantly working at her job and trying to manage a relationship with a man at the same time. When she finally gets a vacation, she goes hiking on a trail and finds a lodge that she used to go to.

Alvin and his brothers are very big trouble makers! When they live in the forest, they can be messy, but when there is a turn of events and they end up living in David Seville’s house.

George wanted to see the world, but when his life is changed by an unexpected event, things that wouldn’t have ever happened without him begin to happen. George could never had known how much he influenced the people around him.

Mr. Krank wants to have a change. He thinks that he and his wife should skip Christmas and go on a cruise instead. He could get away with it to, if his neighbors didn’t have anything to say about it.

Christmas Eve is once again dawning over the sweet, happy little town called “Whoville”. The choirs are caroling, the kids are building snowman, the chefs are making delicious cakes, roasts, and puddings. Everything the same as last year, so to think. What the people of the village of who don’t realize is that the Grinch has finally had enough.

In classic Hallmark style comes this 2011 movie originally entitled “A Thanksgiving Engagement” but renamed so that it could be shown during the Christmas season. It follows a typical Romantic Comedy plot with a setup, things are going well, the twist and then the happy ending.
