Marvel’s Fantastic Four Cast REVEALED

Introduction

The first Fantastic Four film that I saw was the one that was released in 2005. I was very young, and I enjoyed the film, as I was new to the superhero genre, with the only other superhero films that I had seen being Spiderman and Spiderman 2. I thought that the cast for that Fantastic Four film was spot on, and I have a hard time imagining anyone else in those roles.

Then, “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness” was released and we saw John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. John’s performance was good, and I enjoyed the total of 2 minutes that we got to see him on screen. I was disappointed that we did not get to see more of him in that film to say the least. John looked just like Mr. Fantastic, and he portrayed a cautious but smart character.

A couple of years ago we received news that we were going to get a new Fantastic Four film. However, this film was continuously delayed. Fans have been speculating for years about who Marvel was going to cast as the Fantastic Four. However, a few days ago we finally were told who is going to play Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. Today I’m going to break down my thoughts about each of these castings. “The Fantastic Four” is scheduled to release on July 25th, 2025.

Pedro Pascal – Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards

Personally, I was hoping that we would get John Krasinski to have this role as I thought his performance was great in Doctor Strange 2. But I do have hope for Pedro Pacal. Pedro seems to be rising to fame especially after he starred as the Mandalorian in the Star Wars Universe.

While he was not my first choice for Mr. Fantastic, if he can bring some of his Mandalorian energy to playing Reed Richards, I think that he could do very well in this role.

Vanessa Kirby – Invisible Woman/Sue Storm

Of all the castings for the new Fantastic Four. I feel like Vanessa was a great casting choice to play Sue Storm. Vanessa played the White Widow in the two most recent “Mission Impossible” films and did an amazing job in both.

She’s a very interesting actor and I think that she looks a lot like Susan Storm in the comics, so I think that Marvel has done a good job casting her.

Joseph Quinn – Human Torch/Johnny Storm

I haven’t seen any projects that Joseph Quinn is in, so with that in mind I’m not exactly sure what I think of this casting. Personally, I loved Chris Evans as the Human Torch. The way that Chris Evans was able to portray a careless and hilarious Johnny Storm was awesome to watch as a kid. If Joseph Quinn can copy that type of acting style, then I think that Joseph will do well.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach – The Thing/Ben Grimm

Like Joseph, I haven’t seen anything that Ebon is in. Therefore, I don’t really have an opinion on this casting, but I hope that he does well in this film!

What are your thoughts of the new Fantastic Four cast? Do you have anyone else you want to see casted in this film? Let me know in the comments your thoughts!
