James Marsden has confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has finished filming. This film is scheduled to release on December 20th, 2024. With Jim Carrey returning as Dr. Robotnik, we will see Sonic and his friends face Dr. Robotnik once again. Shadow, a rival of Sonic’s, is also set to debut in this film as the film’s main antagonist. If Sonic 3 is anything like the films that came before it, we are in for a wild ride.
Can’t wait to see Sonic until December? Don’t worry! Paramount is releasing a Knuckles series on Paramount Plus on April 26th. This series is going to follow Knuckles on a dangerous adventure against one of Dr. Robotnik’s old associates.
With Paramount seeming to build a franchise out of the Sonic universe, the future for Sonic films looks great. A lot of people are very excited for this new film, and they have good reason to.
